G is for Gratitude

Since this week is Thanksgiving, I feel that it is only appropriate to be grateful. Not just for the big things, but for the little things too.

I'm grateful for:
  • For being able to listen to someone who needs to talk, (and for someone listening when I need to talk)
  • For phonecalls from your friend when you are having a bad day (even when they don't know you are having a bad day)
  • When Olivia says my name
  • When a song comes on the radio that you haven't heard for awhile
  • My friends on missions
  • My young women

This list is endless. But I won't list them all. Thank you family and friends. I love you all!

New York

A few weeks ago I had the honor of going to New York City with some amazing people. No words, or blog post could do the trip justice. Not only did I get to spend time in one of the coolest cities in the United States, I got to spend time with three of my most favorite people in this world; John, Donna and Alexis, my second family.
We stayed right in the middle of Times Square and had the BEST view from our room. We went to the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, Central Park, World Trade Center Site, Serendipity, Del Fresco, and many other places.
We saw "Memphis" on broadway and it was incredible. If you haven't heard of it, I recommend you look it up. I downloaded the music and have been listening to it ever since. We also drove up into Connecticut and walked around at Yale.
I want to publicly thank John and Donna for taking me to New York and for all of the many other things they have done for me (I can't list them all because there are too many). And I most of all want to thank them for being my friends. I Love you.
Central Park. They are the best!

There are not words for how much I love Donna and John

I LOVE NEW YORK ... and I'm pretty sure that's an understatement! I can't wait to go back!

Recently...

So I have slacked off on blogging. So I'll do a quick update. (And for those of you who have done profiles for me I have not forgotten about you and I'll continue to do that again soon, my friends have much more intersting lives than I do)

Anyways, I can tel lthat summer is officially overwith because it's starting to get cold and the leaves are changing. I need to go for a drive up in the canyon. I love looking at the leaves in the fall. I wish Janelle was here because we would always go for drives up the canyon while jamming to Trevor Hall. Miss that girl :)

I've recently discoverd my deep love for watching movies (I dont' know why it took me so long to realize this) But I LOVE watching movies and have been watching between 2 and 3 every week. Maybe I'll start making a favorites movie list.

and the biggest news of all: I'm going to New York for the first time on Wednesday. So I'll be sure to blog (with pictures) immediately after the most amazing trip ever. Until then, Have a great week!

Love,
Steph
