It's not goodbye, just see you soon.

I'm sitting here trying to focus on finishing my second final, but for some reason I can't seem to focus. I''m thinking about how much my life is about to change...in just a short period of one week, my life is going to be competely different.

Here are a few reasons why: I'm approaching my last semester of college... and honestly, I'm terrified.

I'm moving home...which will definitly prove to be an interesting adventure. (If you need to know the reasons why let me know and I'll tell you)

And lastly, two of my really good friends are leaving. (Amanda Parker and Janelle Bertagnole).
I was talking with my dad the other day and he was talking about my dying dog. He mentioned that he "loved very deeply and passionately". I have thought about this so much lately and have realized that this is a quality I have inherited from my dad which makes change extremely hard form me... especially when it involves people that I LOVE so much.

Amanda has accepted a job and is moving to Fargo. My time working with her will be over with after tomorrow. I will miss definitely miss it and her so much! Love you Amander.

And Janelle is going on a mission. My emotions are on the surface as I think about what is happening... and I hate this because I hate crying. But for the past three and a half years Janelle has been my best friend (she always will be my best friend). We have created so many unforgettable memories together. I'm sure she gets sick of me saying this but I owe her so much. She has influenced my life in a way that no one else has or ever will. My Father in Heaven truely knew what he was doing when he put me in Kimball hall in 2006. I will be forever grateful for my eternal relationship with J. I love you Janelle.
Now to those who will be around me the next two weeks, I apoligize as the tears most likely will be falling frequently.

I hope this post isn't too emo, I just wanted to express my feelings. I promise I have an extremely exciting post coming up (J... you know what I'm talking about).

Thank you for listening.

All my love,
Steph

Experiment

Okay so I want to do a little experiment. I want to see how many people I can get to read my blog. And I'm also curious who reads this, so if you are reading this will you please post a comment. I would appreciate that so much.

Okay I have some questions and I need some input, help and suggestions.

First, as I mentioned in my previous blog I really enjoy photography? For all those (and I know many of you are pros) out there do you have any suggestions as I start out?

Second, I recently just finished signing up for my LAST semester of classes... WEIRD... and I need to start looking for some sort of PR internship. Anybody know of any cool internships that you recommend I apply for?

Third, So as the majority of you know I work at BYU Broadcasting and being the PR major that I am, I'm trying to get their facebook and twitter pages more widely used. So if you ever watch or are interested in BYU Broadcasting or KBYU would you become a fan of their page on facebook? Also we are looking for increased interaction on the pages as well so if you have any suggestions please let me know.
Lastly, We got to go to College Game Day which was amazing. Although BYU lost the game, College Game Day was awesome!
So I am going to leave you with this. Thanks for all you do for me. I really do appreciate that.

So as most of you probably know(or don't know)... one of my real hobbies is photography. One day I hope to take some photography classes so I can actually be at least a little good at photography. Right now I stink but hopefully i will get better. Anyways the last week I have taken a few photos. Just for fun I'll put them on here. Janelle and I went to the Salt Flats on Saturday, it was a nice long drive but it produced some cool pictures. Then today we went up to the Canyon. We didn't have much time today to take pictures so hopefully we will have the chance to do it again before the leaves completely die. So here are some pictures of our extravaganza. *A special thanks to Janelle for coming with me and for letting me take pictures of her, and for being such a great friend!* Also she doesn't know this but a special thanks to Kalli (yes I read your blog all the time) for the idea of going to the Salt Flats to take pictures.

I love going up to Sundance! It's so gorgeous up there.
Welcome to the Salt Flats! :)

This one is Great!
I think this one is my favorite picture.

This picture would be even better if the truck wasn't in the background.

UPDATE

So time for a little update..

I just realized how boring my blog posts are... please i am open for suggestions and ideas. Although there are not many major things that go on in my life that are really blog worthy.

However, to my readers out there (obviously you know who you are) What can I do to improve "the blog".

Update:

school: I failed my first test today... seems to be the story of my life, oh well. Other than that just really busy. The pitch packet is due on Monday for my PR class. I hope that I can do well on the assignment.

work: still love the job. love the co-workers. They are the best. But nothing too terribly exciting is going on. However with general conference coming up this weekend work next beek will be extremely CRAZY.

family: right now father is in Long Beach for work... I wish I was with him, but school got in the way. mother is sick... hopefully she gets better soon. Megan is doing well, we got to have a sleepover at my apartment two nights ago. Emily has been sick as well. I think/hope she is starting to feel better.

friends: To my great friends of all ages you know who you are (and most of you don't read this but I love you anyways). I love you.

other: I am looking forward to General Conference this weekend. I love the changing leaves on the trees, but I hate the cold. I am not looking forward to winter and the snow.

entertainment: please visit http://www.peopleofwalmart.com/ if you would like to laugh.

until next time...

Oh School.

Well I have almost made it through the first week of my senior year in college... WOW that is weird!
I am only taking 12 credits... which is really low so the semester should be easy... but I don't think that it is actually going to be easy.
It has been hard getting back into the swing of things (and I don't hink I'm completely back into my routine yet).
Does anyone have some good study tips or test takin tips? This have probably been my 2 biggest struggles in college and I could always use any help that I can get.
Well I was going to write more... but I guess it will have to wait for later.
Until next time...

It has been awhile

I guess it's time to get one last post in before school starts (aka one last post before Christmas). The last few weeks have been interstesting... to say the least. Not necessarily good interesting all the time... but you know that's alright, that's part of life.

I want to say thanks to my AMAZING roommates. I love you Janelle and Chelsea so much.

I also want to say that I work with some SUPER AWESOME people who make work so awesome.(this includes you Ash) You guys know who you are... so thanks!

Thank you also to my amazing family! Ok so school starts next week. And if you are wondering I am not looking forward to it. I am so scared. But I guess that's part of life. I went to Idaho with the fam for a few short days (trip got cut short).

Last night I hung out with the former roommates. And then today Kaela and I went to the ZOO! It was so hot but still so fun.

Last but not least! AMANDA COMES HOME TOMORROW! :)

(I'll be adding pictures to this post as soon as I have my camera with me)

A lot of Nothing

I've been told I need to blog, however, I am not quite sure what I should blog about.
I live a pretty normal and boring life and to make it worse I have not taken any pictures lately, which will make this post even more boring.
Here are some happenings:
1. Work has been pretty entertaining lately, mostly because I work with some hilarious people. I could tell you what has been going on but I would just bore you with the details, so i'll spare you (and probably spare myself of the embarrassment)
2. I am going to Idaho with the fam next week. I'm so looking forward to spending time with the fam but to be honest I'd rather stay here... I'm not looking forward to going to Idaho, although it is gorgeous. This is what Idaho looks like in the winter.

3. I had a hilarious day on Wednesday. Janelle and I went and got pedicures(which was especially funny after watching the Anjelah Johnson video) ... well pretty much we are hilarious I had such a great time. Love her to death
4. Today Amanda and I went on our daily soda run and the lady there has come to recognize us which i think is funny. The worker (who hates her job... Amanda.. you're probably the only one who gets this) said, "You guys aren't getting refills today?" I thought it was pretty funny.
5. I still really want to go on a road trip. We are tentatively planning on going to Vegas the weekend after I get back from Idaho. I hope we end up going.

6. Also I have been getting tired of my music so I am just wondering if any of you who read my blog have any suggestions of some good music to listen to?
I don't know what else to say.... so i guess the madness ends here. (at least for today)

5 things you never wanted to know about me

1. I like my food to be really hot. If it doesn’t burn my tongue it’s probably not hot enough

2. I’m obsessed with the ocean and the beach, mostly water in general… I love pretty much anything that has to do with water. (I think I was meant to be born by an ocean… apparently my parents didn’t get the memo…jk) and i really want to learn how to surf.

3. I want to go on a road trip…any takers?

4. Someday I really want to do a triathlon and eventually a marathon… yes I know I have a looooooooong ways to go.

5. I really like the number 5… don’t really know why

How do you make Millions?

So recently Amanda and I have been trying to come up with a way to get 300 Million Dollars. (We have a lot of ambitions, dreams and goals to finance).
We've come up with a few options, but I'm looking from ideas from you.

Can you give me some suggestions of ways to get $300 million?

Pictures are worth a Thousand Words

I prefer describing my life in pictures rather than words. They can show more and you don't have to spend hours reading about my life. Most of these are documenting my summer, starting in June.
(Sorry for the length of this post, and probably boringness)
My Dad had surgery in the middle of May. This is him and my second dad John Horn taking a ride in John's hot new ride.

Amanda and I attempting to make amazing cupcakes. Don't worry, we'll master it soon.

Hanging out with Amanda (and Rubio of course) is one of my favorite activities that I have been a part of this summer. I love them.

I made Janelle pose in fornt of the Ferris Wheel. I think Ferris Wheel's make great pictures. I think Janelle makes a great picture. So together you get to see the amazingness that is 'Janelle in front of the Ferris Wheel'. I love her.

Because of Amanda's rocking awesomeness I got to go to the Yanni concert. This is us waiting for the concert to start.

The man, Yanni.

We had the privilege of meeting the Yanni Voices. This is my former future husband Nathan Pacheco.

This is a funny moment that was pointed out to me while we were going through the drive through at Taco Bell.

Hanging out with Janelle and Jimmy is another one of my favorite summer pastimes.

Janelle and her new ride.

I also have had the privilege of celebrating Janelle's 21st birthday with her.

Amanda, Megan and I got to go see Good Things Utah. I love seeing my good friend Angie Larsen on there. When Angie came in she came over to say hi to me, after she went over to wait for the filming of the show to start the lady sitting behind me asked, "How do you know Angie, Did you guys go to high school together?" I hope when I am Angie's age i can look as good as she does.
There are many other things not pictured here that havev been highlights in my summer which include, hanging out with my family, watching movies with Chelsea, soda runs with Amanda.
Until next time.......................

A whole new world

Inspired by numerous people, and partial boredom for the current moment I have decided to take a plunge into the blogging world. Not that my life is interesting, nor do i think people will read it but here goes. But tomorrow is June 12... which means the day has finally come that analog TV will no longer exist. This also means work will be crazy tomorrow. AKA old people wondering why they can no longer get KBYU....

Today I went to the dentist to have some work done on my teeth. They numbed the entire right side of my mouth. By request from my good friend Amanda I took some pictures because of the hilarity of the situation. Maybe i'll post them... but i probably won't.
